The Hanoverian
Through numerous convincing successes in all disciplines of international equestrian
sports the Hanoverian is today known all over the world as a byword for quality.
For decades the State Stud in Germany has acquired, tested and planned the use
of selected stallions. The success of the Hanoverian bred horse today is a result
of the persistent application of their principles to the breeding of performance
horses. The task of the State Stud is of essential importance to the future development
of the Hanoverian breed.

The Hanoverian Society is famous for the outstanding success
of its Hanoverian horses in various disciplines all over the
world. Besides numerous titles in European and World Championships
and in the Olympic Games in dressage, show jumping and eventing,
Hanoverians are also successful in western riding and driving.
The leading position in the world breeding ranking in dressage
and show jumping in the team competition and the first place
individually in show jumping, taken by the World Cup winner E.T.
FRH by Espri, are proof of a successful and continuous breeding
progress achieved by the members of the Hanoverian Society. Not
only top riders benefit from the willingness of the modern sporthorse
to perform, but pleasure riders in many countries throughout

The Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia (HHSA) is a daughter
society of the German Hanoverian Verband. Hanoverians bred in
Australia that are studbook registered with the HHSA are Internationally
recognised and have the same status as any Hanoverian bred in
Germany.
